...that the word "gullible" is not in the dictionary?

At first I thought you were planting a sneaky trap for the gullible. But sure enough, there it wasn't!

Though, according to Google it's in the Merriam-Webster on-line dict.

I wasn't being completely truthful about the word not being in the dictionary. It is.

But what a fun question to ask people; it tends to sort the trusting from the skeptical, or maybe the credulous from the rest of us.

True, it is in 'some' dictionaries. Oddly, it isn't in my Concise Oxford.
